"We had
so many wonderful walks. The park is beautiful and the Plodda Falls are quite
magnificent. Altogether splendid."
Activities can range from boating and
birdwatching, to riding and stalking. You may simply enjoy being in a
wilderness where eagles, ospreys, deer and pine martens are not uncommon
sights.
LOCH & RIVER
FISHING
Two large hill lochs with islands and boats produce over 500
brown trout a year, with rods taking over 30 a day. Other smaller lochs,
including the one in front of the house, also with a boat, contain good sized
trout, and there is a spate burn bordering the park. Ghillies are available by
prior arrangement, as is salmon and sea trout fishing on the rivers Glass,
Farrar and Beauly.

WALKING, RIDING &
SPORT
There are beautiful walks through the estate's fine
140 acre park, and nearby Caledonian pine forests, with two magnificent
waterfalls, and, for the more energetic, several Munros close by. Pony trekking
and golf are available in spectacular scenery nearby.
SHOOTING &
STALKING
Clay pigeon and game shooting can be arranged on other estates in the area.
Deer stalking with experienced guides is also available.
